Istanbul | day 4

On our fourth day in Istanbul we took a ferry to another part of town and decided to walk to the Chora Church. We walked along the old Byzantine wall that used to protect the city and we passed through some amazing neighbourhoods. Some of the houses weren't in great shape (at all) but they were so beautiful - they were covered in thousands of tiny colourful tiles... I couldn't stop myself from taking dozens of photos!

When we got to the Chora Museum we found out that part of it was under renovation but what we saw was very impressive. From there we got slightly lost in public transportation (but were helped by very friendly locals) and eventually made our way to the Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque.
